    IMHO, D.L.R. is an odd bird. We’ve all met people like him — has brains and moxie, but always seems “on” trying to impress everyone within earshot. Great fun at a party until he’s exhausted everyone with stories of his greatness. You know, the one who overstays their welcome, pouring another drink two hours after the last guest has left? Entertaining until it’s exhausting, then it’s just boorish.

    Glad he found his tribe in VH, as they made some pretty incredible music together. I think Barry posted this article a few weeks back, but just in case, it’s worth perusing:
