    Super kewl.

I’ve always thought it would be weird fun to live on a planet orbiting a binary star system.

  2. dahuls says:

    Nice….
If it were that close though, we’d be the “Moon”!

  3. Frilton Miedman says:

And we’d have massive earthquakes & volcanic activity as a result of Jupiter’s gravity warping our shape as we orbit.

  4. mpavan says:

yes, WE would be the moon.

and Jupiter wouldn’t stay that far away for long. The earth very likely would be too close to be in a stable orbit

so enjoy the view while you can …

  5. OscarWildeDog says:

If Jupiter were that close, Joan Rivers’ eyes would be at the nape of her “neck,” Mitch O’Connell’s upper lip would be half way up his nose, and Edward Snowden would still be playing global parcheesi with the NSA and FBI.

  6. rach1902 says:

wouldnt gravitational force from Jupiter suck
    out the Earths atmosphere?
