    A certain subset of housing will likely see these sort of increases, but it will be HIGHLY correlated to the number of home buyers that have experienced and see a continuing string of substantial increases in income … how many mansions can the typical CEO, financial industry player, health care executive, specialist MD own?

    Doesn’t that qualify as a magazine cover contrary indicator or does it not count because Barron’s is a “serious financial” publication? The fact is that Schiller is sceptical and the Fast money has stopped buying single family homes en mass, perhaps recognising that actually operating as a slum landlord is not as easy as it seems?
