    While “Unforgiven” was set in Wyoming, it was filmed in Alberta. Anyone who lives in Wyoming could see that there were no scenes shot here.

    The current TV series “Longmire” is set here in Wyoming (and actually set in the area where I live, near the Big Horn Mountains), but is obviously shot in northern New Mexico. Even casual observation of the terrain and flora kill the idea that it is set in Wyoming.
