    Have you considered that technology by itself is reducing emissions ? In 10 years the mileage per gallon of my cars halved, and jet engines did even better. Basically any emission (here included noise) is a waste from the point of view of the process, and wastes are pennies going up the funnel or exhaust. Le coche et la mouche ?

    1) You’ve forgotten Ahmdahl’s Law. If the US plunged ourselves into a DPRK-like stone age and ceased all human-caused CO2 production (including breathing), it would not significantly affect the world-wide total absorbed long-wave radiation.

    2) Hate to annoy with actual data, but in most of the world the sea is not rising. 75 years if zero change at Almeda, for example:
