One Response to “The 2009 Recovery Act: Directly Created and Saved Jobs Were Primarily in Government”

What a fuc*ing waste! This was an opportunity to rebuild America. We should have fixed our education system and infrastructure. Instead we created a bureaucratic mess. We now have a giant environmental consulting industry looking to continue their 100K+ salaries by shutting down projects. And what did we do for our education system with those additional half million jobs?

We are now stuck in a 2% growth rate which probably does not even keep up with real inflation for most people. There are not enough construction jobs for the blue collar crowd, a broken education system for everyone and we are now looking at the cost of oil going to $150 because of failed foreign policy.

This is what the “Yes we can” crowd did! Now it’s time to clean up the mess.
