Thank you Barry, and thank God we in the USA are in one of the lowest areas. Very sad we live in a world with so much terrorism, Perhaps at some point we will learn how to further curtail this problem globally. Thoughts anyone on how that might be accomplished?

This is a joke. I looked up New Zealand. Apparently there have been 18 incidents. This is news to me. Only 1 with a death (an assasination) and 1 with injuries.
Seems like the definition of terrorism is now looser than a $2 hooker.

The point being how accurate is the rest of the data?

The figure is probably a lot more bigger than that. Obviously, its an act of terrorism when its called so by the other party. What is called a military mistake by one side, its often called a terrorism attack by the other. The most recent exemple is Israel and Palestine. When Israel bomb a hospital and only women and children are among the dead people, then its amistake. When Palestine initiate or retaliate (this will never end), then its a act of terrorism. Same thing in China with the population retaliating against the government (ie Uigurs), same thing, military on one side, terrorism on the other. Many acts of terrorism on that map are basically from organized militias, while many military strikes could account for act of terrorism.

An ‘act of terror’ is an act by a terrorist group. Hamas is a terrorist group (even neighboring arab counties are silent on the shelling in Gaza). Let’s not confuse things.

The parents of the Chinese grad student who was beat to death with a baseball bat by illegal immigrants in California might have a different opinion of what qualifies as an “act of terror”.

PS….They had to wait on a US Visa to come claim their dead son…..the illegals that murdered his son just walked across the border.

When the definition of “terrorism” is as subjective as the word “is” is, maybe this info should be taken with a grain of salt.

Also, I expect it’s safe to conclude the drone based assassinations the US/Israel/… carry out aren’t included as points on the map.
