Under the Dome – Watched the whole thing .. pretty, pretty, pretty good . . actually startling in its honesty. A few of the many possible takeaways . .
China’s growth is not exactly what it seems . . . Not only are there no stores open in the shopping centers, there are no tenants in the apartment complexes, and the steel factories are being subsidized to produce low quality steel for which there is no market . . how much of the growth is fake like this? . . letting go of the gov’t control that produces this waste of resources is going to be hard for the party but this can’t go on.

The Chinese factories treat emission controls on their vehicles the same way they produce flooring for Lumber Liquidators . . by ignoring the standards – period. A warning for consumers like me and you . . and remember the poison pet food.

And this . . . China can’t improve the quality of their gasoline (reduce pollution) b/c the board that would raise the standards is made up of oil industry people. Sounds familiar?
