    This is good, but it somewhat misses the point of the scientific method, which is what I think people often don’t understand.

    It’s easy to gather all sorts of scientific evidence for pretty much anything you want – creationism, for example. It’s a matter of integrating that evidence with a proper and rigorous analytical framework that often gets lost.

      and of course testing your theory. again and again. plus publishing it, so that others can repeat the test and get the same result. and even then its possible that some one down the road will find a defect in the theory and tests. in fact thats the ideal, cause it means that the theories are actually being checked by many people, looking for errors

    There is a complete subset of catagories to add to those listed above.

    Simply add Bought And Paid For to each catagory to get a better idea of where science leads us in the 21st century world. Grants allocated to friends of a certain belief to obtain a specific end result makes settled science highly suspect.

    As Alex (above) states,”it’s easy to gather all sorts of scientific evidence for pretty much anything you want”. And financially lucrative.
