I’m not a genius when it comes to technicals but it would seem that if we dont find a way to rally or at least hold current levels that would be awful. New low….new weekly close low….new monthly close low…..i think all would see another leg down. Anybody that feels this says different feel free to let me know why. Always looking for a more optimistic view just cant seem to find one that i buy at this point in time.

There just is too much optimism out there. After news like today, this market should be down 100 on the S&P. Oh! I forgot the PPT….and with the lack of volumn it does take a whole lot.

Oh that’s ok, I’m sure they’ll suspend shorting (or reinstate the uptick rule) sooner or later..

This trend ain’t nobody’s friend.
And the scuttlebutt is that the uptick rule will be restored.

Interesting to note that the financial sector was second on the “monthly” chart. I guess hope does spring eternal. Get real. They are using your money to prop up insolvent companies in order to get you to put your “other” money to invest in them. Ship of fools.
