Updated Blog Design

You may have noticed lighter posting this week, less original content and more guest authors; I have been away all week, on a well deserved post-manuscript Caribbean vacation.

Starting next week, I am rolling out a variety of changes and updates to the blog. Gone will be the flash so detested by many of you; The header gets appreciably smaller; Some very cool functionality gets added, and some wicked new content will be showing up where you least expect it.

In terms of design, the entirely too colorful tab layout goes away, replaced with something much cleaner.

I wonder though how the vacation industry is in the Caribbean? One of the Fast Money crew said Disney World in Orlando was a zoo recently.

I would have liked the header if the “video screens” were links to content related in some way to the graphic used for the “screen”.

With the soon-to-be total disappearance of CRT screens, I wonder what age group will first begin to wonder why people use a rectangle with rounded corners as an icon for a video screen.

I love the blog but appreciate the less is more approach.

Speaking of “less is more” I’ve kept CNBC off most of this week and “viva la difference”. I realized it was like watching those screaming TV commercials elevating my blood pressure unnecessarily!
