Re: On the left right paradigm – Two things:
1. You left out the more critical area where there is no daylight between the professional politicians of the two parties and that is in national security policy especially expansion of the security state’s surveillance powers and now Obama goes further and even claims the right to order the assassination of American citizens without due process and that the doctrine of state secrets should preclude any court from even hearing arguments on the issue.
2. Ralph Nader got there first.
