Awesome because it shows that some doctors are starting to wake up to the fact that we, humans, are not single organisms but hosts to huge, mostly beneficial, bacterial colonies. Bacterias in a healthy human body are about 10 times as numerous as human cells properly said.
Give it another few decades and doctors may even start to rediscover the existence of >bacteriophages, useful viruses that could outdo antibiotics for fighting certain infectious diseases.
